Start the FBT Year Off Right with RemServ
New Year’s Day marks the beginning of a new year for everyone. Resolutions are made (and promptly broken), and we all look forward to a fresh start.
In the world of salary packaging, the new year begins on 1 April. It’s the ideal time to look to the year ahead with your salary packaging account.
Make sure your account and benefits are set up in a way that gives you peace of mind for the next twelve months. Know what you need to claim, spend or monitor throughout the year. Taking some time to review your accounts and budgets will give you the confidence that your salary packaging is rolling along each pay in the way you intended.
Here are a few simple steps to set up your account for the coming year and make this FBT year easy to manage:
- If a job change is on the cards this FBT year, let us know as soon as possible. The earlier we know, the sooner we can help you maximise your salary packaging benefits before you move.
- To ensure everything runs smoothly, check all your work and personal details are up to date. You can do this with our My RemServ app and online portal. If you don’t have an account yet, register at remserv.com.au, click on ‘My Account’ and follow the prompts.
- Know what you’re eligible for. The start of the FBT year is the perfect time to review which benefits are available to you. You may be eligible for more than you’re aware of. Check out the range of benefits you could be eligible to package here.
